Minor injury, e.g. soft tissue damage causing considerable pain but recovery almost complete within one year up to £2,750.
Strains, sprains, disc prolapses, soft tissue injuries up to £8,000. Severe injuries e.g permanent disability up to £17,750.
Serious fractures where there is significant or permanent disability from £25,000 to £38,250. Serious fractures with good recovery or good expected recovery £12,250 to £25,500. Simple fractures of the radius and/or ulna bones with fast and complete recovery, £4,500. Some remaining disability up to £12,250.
Severely disabling injury from £25,000 to £35,000. Injuries leading to impaired function but no major surgery or significant disability from £10,000 to £20,500. Moderate or minor injury e.g. simple fractures, or tennis elbow, with no permanent damage or impairment of function up to £8,000.
Significant or permanent disability £25,000 to £35,000, less severe disability or pain and stiffness from £8,000 to £20,000.
Severe fracture to fingers with partial amputations resulting in deformity, impairment of grip, reduced function up to £23,500. Loss of index finger up to £12,000. Fractures with impairment of grip from £5,850 to £7,750. Loss of middle finger £10,000. Serious injury to ring or middle fingers £9,500 to £10,500. Loss of terminal phalanx of ring or middle fingers from £2000 to £5000. Amputation of little finger from £5500 to £7750. Loss of part of little finger where tip is sensitive from £2500 to £3750. Fracture of one finger with complete recovery (dependant on recovery time) from £1,900 to £3,000. Loss of thumb from £18,000 to £27,500. Severe dislocation of thumb, £2,000 to £3,000.
Minor injuries upto £2,500. Severe injuries needing/had hip replacements up to £17,000.
Torn cartilage or meniscus, dislocation, ligamentous damage; injuries resulting in minor instability or weakness from £9,500 to £17,000. Lacerations, twisting or bruising injury with complete recovery, up to £3,750. Ongoing symptoms e.g aching/discomfort/occasional pain, up to £8,750.
Simple fracture with full recovery up to £5,750. Severe leg injuries including simple fracture of femur, up to £9,000. Fractures where recovery is incomplete from £11,500 to £17,750.
Severe injury, long period of treatment, long period in plaster and some permanent disability (limited walking ability etc) from £20,000 - £32,000. For fractures and ligamentous tears resulting in moderate disability up to £8,750.
